JONATHAN L. BOYD, BS, MS, RSBA - Associate

Jon has his MS in administration majoring in organizations from Central Michigan University and a BS in accounting and finance from Urbana University. He is a licensed school treasurer and business manager in addition to being a Registered School Business Administrator with over 36 years of proven successful experience as a government finance expert. He began his career in the Ohio Auditor of States Office as a field auditor supervisor leaving that post in 1985 to become Treasurer/CFO of school systems ranging in size from $12 million budget to over $600 million. Jon has received many awards in his career including being named Ohio School Treasurer of the year. Before joining K-12 Business Consulting Jonathan's last assignment was CFO of Cincinnati City Schools, Ohio's 3rd largest public school. JEFF GORDON, BA - Associate

Jeff earned his BS in business management from Hiram College and is a licensed Ohio Public School Business Manager with over 17 years of proven business management experience including 9 years as Director of Business Management of Olentangy Local Schools and 3 years as Director of Business Affairs for Crestwood Local Schools. Jeff's school business experience ranges from a district with 4 schools and 1,600 students to a district with 23 schools and over 18,000 students. Jeff has extensive experience in capital and facility mid-term and long-term planning with the Olentangy Local School District which has been the fastest growing school district in Ohio over the last decade creating extreme demands for facility construction, renovation and maintenance. Jeff is associated with K-12 Business Consulting to provide intermediate and long-term capital planning for equipment, furniture, vehicle replacement, facility maintenance and repair. He will work with your school district to develop a capital plan itemizing these needs to assist in prioritizing or demonstrating need for Permanent Improvement funds, Bond Issue Capital funds, or the most efficient allocation of limited General Fund resources to maintain facilities. DENNIS A. LEONE, BS, MS, Ed.D - Associate

Dr. Leone has a bachelor's degree in education from Bowling Green State University, a master's degree in public relations from American University, and a doctorate in educational administration from the University of Arkansas. He has over 40 years of proven successful experience in education as a teacher, principal and central office administrator -- which includes 23 years as superintendent of schools in Ohio. Dr. Leone is currently an assistant professor of educational administration at Ashland University. Dr. Leone's career spans service in small rural schools to being superintendent in a medium sized city school district, and being elected to the State Teachers Retirement System Board of Directors. During his career, he led several levy efforts, managed numerous negotiations, and handled several student and staff matters. He frequently testifies on proposed bills at the Statehouse and has been successful in writing legislation in Ohio. Dr. Leone has received several awards during his distinguished career including: GFOA Ohio Ethic's Award, BASA Distinguished Service Award, and BASA Exemplary Leadership Award, among others. JEFF McCUEN, BA, CPA – Associate & Owner of McCuen's Accounting Services

Jeff earned his BS in accounting from The Ohio State University. He also is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and a licensed school treasurer with over 20 years of proven successful school finance experience including 7 years of school treasurer experience as Treasurer/CFO of Worthington City Schools and 13 years as Assistant Treasurer of Dublin City Schools. Jeff's experience ranges from a district with a budget of $100 million to over $200 million. Jeff received many awards in his career including the OASBO Distinguished Service Award, Rich Unger Award, Chuck Gossett Award and was recently presented with the GFOA Lifetime Achievement Award. CHRISTOPHER S. MOHR, AS, BS, MBA, RSBA, CGFM, OFAC - President

Chris has earned a MBA majoring in finance and administration, along with a BS in accounting from Miami University of Ohio, and an AS in business administration from Edison State College. He also holds a designation of Registered School Business Administrator and holds the Ohio Financial Accountability Certificate issued by the auditor of state's office. He has over 35 years of proven successful governmental finance and management experience and is a licensed school treasurer, business manager and holds an Ohio Health, Life and Variable Annuity license. He began his career at the Ohio Auditor of States Office as an examiner and field audit supervisor leaving that position to become Treasurer/CFO and Executive Director of Business Affairs of public school system in 1984. He has served district from $30 million to $200 million in budget and has managed both CFO and Director of Business Affairs simultaneously in Dublin and Springfield CSD. Chris has received many awards during his career including Ohio School Treasurer of the Year, Ohio School Business Manager of the Year and the Ohio Association of School Business Official's Virginia Ramsay Award for Distinguished Service to the profession. Cindy has earned her MA in school finance from Ashland University, along with a BS in business administration from Findlay College.  She is a licensed school treasurer and Registered School Finance Business Officer with over 30 years of proven successful school finance experience including 24 years of actual school treasurer experience.  Cindy's experience as a Treasurer/CFO ranges from a district with a budget of $12 million to $60 million.  Cindy has received many awards in her career including the OASBO Presidents Award, Rich Unger Professionalism Award, Distinguished Service Award, and the Virginia Ramsey Award.  Before joining K-12 Business Consulting Cindy's last assignment was CFO of the Marysville Exempted Village School District.  Cindy is pleased to provide a wide array of services including five year forecasting analysis and preparation; Straight-A-Fund Grant accounting; levy analysis and modeling; district efficiency reviews; treasurer recruiting services and mentoring services for school business officials. Steve has a ME in education, guidance and counseling from Xavier University and a BS in elementary education from Ohio University. He has over 38 years of proven successful experience in education as a teacher, bus driver, elementary principal, HR director and superintendent of school. Steve's career spans service in small rural schools to being principal, HR Director and Superintendent of Dublin City Schools when it was the fastest growing school system in Ohio. During his career he led Dublin CSD and Jackson CSD to excellent ratings as superintendent.
